Floating Shelf — if that's what you're after, this brass gallery rail is worth a look, finished by hand instead of stamped out on a production line.

• Material: Brass
• Finish: Unlacquered

Beyond the kitchen, it works anywhere a shower shelf would — hallway, guest bath, or open kitchen shelving. It also comes up in searches for shelf brackets.

Like most wall shelves shelf, the finish is only the starting point — brass develops its own patina with use, so no two pieces age quite the same way.
